Fully configured, a single EX8208 Ethernet Switch can support 384 GbE or 64 10GbE ports at wire speed, or 320 10GbE ports in shared bandwidth applications, while a fully configured EX8216 Ethernet Switch can support twice that number, offering one of the industry&#8217;s highest 10GbE port densities.<\/p>\n<p>Up to three EX8208 Ethernet switches or two EX8216 Ethernet switches can fit in a single 42-unit rack, delivering an unprecedented 256 wire-speed or 1,280 shared-bandwidth 10GbE ports per rack.<\/p>\n<p>The EX8200 Ethernet Switches also support Juniper&#8217;s unique Virtual Chassis technology, which enables up to four interconnected switches to operate as a single, logical device.
